At Luxurious Secret Affair, we strive to provide exceptional service to all our clients and models. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes for our modeling services.
Important: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to
[email protected] or through our contact form. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
1. Client Booking Cancellations
Our cancellation and refund policy for client bookings is structured as follows:

2. Deposit and Advance Payment Policy
Booking Deposits:
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm all bookings
- Deposits are applied toward the total booking fee
- Remaining balance is due 7 days before the event/shoot date
- Failure to pay the balance may result in booking cancellation without refund
Advance Payments:
- Full advance payment may be required for first-time clients
- Established clients may be offered payment terms of Net 30 days
- Advance payments follow the standard cancellation policy outlined above
3. Model Cancellations by Agency
If Luxurious Secret Affair must cancel or replace a model due to circumstances within our control:
- Substitute Model: We will provide a comparable substitute model at no additional cost
- If No Substitute Available: Full refund of all payments made
- Additional Compensation: In cases of extreme inconvenience, we may offer additional compensation at our discretion
4. Force Majeure and Unforeseen Circumstances
In cases of events beyond our reasonable control, special terms apply:
- Natural Disasters: Earthquakes, floods, severe weather
- Health Emergencies: Pandemics, quarantines, serious illness
- Government Actions: Travel bans, lockdowns, venue closures
- Civil Unrest: Riots, strikes, political instability
Force Majeure Refund Terms: In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule bookings when possible. If rescheduling is not feasible, we will provide a refund minus reasonable expenses already incurred (up to 20% of booking fee).
5. Client-Initiated Changes and Modifications
Date Changes:
- First date change: No fee if requested more than 14 days in advance
- Subsequent changes: $250 administrative fee per change
- Changes within 7 days of booking: Subject to model availability and may incur additional fees
Scope Changes:
- Increase in services: Additional fees apply, payable before service delivery
- Reduction in services: Refunds subject to standard cancellation policy based on notice period
- Location changes: May incur additional travel expenses
6. Refund Processing and Timeline
Processing Time:
- Refund requests are processed within 5-7 business days of approval
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Bank processing may take an additional 5-10 business days
- International transfers may take 10-15 business days
Refund Methods:
- Credit/debit card refunds: Processed to original card
- Bank transfer payments: Refunded to original account
- Cash payments: Refunded via bank transfer or check
7. Model Representation Fee Refunds
For models paying representation or registration fees:
- Portfolio Development Fees: Non-refundable once services have commenced
- Annual Representation Fees: Pro-rated refund available if terminating contract early, minus completed services
- Workshop/Training Fees: Refundable up to 7 days before workshop date with 10% administrative fee
- No-Show Policy: No refunds for missed appointments or sessions without 48-hour notice
8. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks
Dispute Resolution Process:

- Provide detailed information about the disputed amount and reason
- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
- Most disputes are resolved through direct communication
Chargeback Policy:
- Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in service suspension
- We will vigorously contest invalid chargebacks with documentation
- Clients initiating fraudulent chargebacks will be banned from future services
- Legal action may be pursued for fraudulent chargeback claims
9. Weather-Related Cancellations
For outdoor shoots and events:
- Severe Weather: If weather makes shooting impossible or unsafe, we will work to reschedule
- Rescheduling: Preferred option with no additional fees within 30 days
- If Rescheduling Not Possible: Full refund minus travel expenses incurred (up to 15%)
- Client Preference: If client cancels due to weather concerns but shoot is feasible, standard cancellation policy applies
10. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
Client No-Show:
- If client does not appear for scheduled booking without notice: No refund, full payment due
- Late arrival exceeding 1 hour: May result in reduced booking time with no refund of fees
- Repeated no-shows: May result in requirement for full advance payment for future bookings
Model No-Show:
- If model fails to appear: Full refund or substitute model provided immediately
- Additional compensation may be offered at agency discretion
- Model will face contract penalties or termination
11. Service Quality Guarantees
We guarantee professional service quality. If you're unsatisfied:
- During Service: Notify us immediately so we can address concerns in real-time
- After Service: Contact us within 48 hours with specific feedback
- Resolution Options: Partial refund, credit toward future services, or re-shoot at no additional cost (where applicable)
- Exclusions: Quality guarantees do not apply to subjective style preferences or minor issues
12. Travel and Accommodation Refunds
For bookings requiring model travel:
- Pre-Booked Travel: Non-refundable travel costs are client's responsibility if booking is cancelled
- Accommodation: Client responsible for accommodation cancellation fees per hotel/venue policies
- Travel Insurance: We recommend clients purchase travel insurance for bookings involving significant travel
- Agency Travel Costs: Any non-refundable agency travel expenses will be deducted from refunds
13. Rush Booking and Premium Service Fees
Rush Bookings: Bookings requested with less than 72 hours notice incur premium fees:
- Rush fees are non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing
- Standard refund policy applies to base booking fees only
- Premium rush fees range from 25-50% of base rate
14. Refund Exceptions and Special Circumstances
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following circumstances:
- Services have been fully rendered as contracted
- Client dissatisfaction with final product due to subjective preferences
- Client failure to provide necessary information or access
- Violation of our Terms and Conditions by the client
- Cancellations for bookings with non-refundable expenses exceeding 80% of total fee
15. Credit and Future Service Options
As an alternative to refunds, we may offer:
- Service Credits: Credit toward future bookings (valid for 12 months)
- Credit Bonuses: Credits may include 10% bonus value
- Package Upgrades: Opportunity to upgrade to premium services
- Extended Validity: Credits can sometimes be extended beyond standard 12-month period
16. Refund Request Process

- Step 3: Provide original payment details for refund processing
- Step 4: Await confirmation and processing timeline (typically 5-7 business days)

17. International Client Considerations
For international clients:
- Currency conversion rates at time of refund may differ from original booking
- International transfer fees may be deducted from refund amount
- Additional processing time required for cross-border transactions
- Refund amounts reflect UAE Dirham (AED) rates at time of processing
18. Tax and VAT on Refunds
UAE VAT considerations:
- Refunds include VAT reversal where applicable
- VAT-registered clients receive VAT credit notes
- Non-VAT registered clients receive full refund including VAT component
- Tax documentation provided upon request
19. Amendments to Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy:
- Changes effective 30 days after posting on website
- Existing bookings governed by policy in effect at booking time
- Significant changes communicated via email to active clients
- Regular policy reviews conducted quarterly
